Dragon - My Heavens, bob! Surely you don't mean to tell us that you can't read ancient Hebrew?

bob - I am bob, god of the abstratct nonsensical, repetitive and multi-lingual. I can read anything. Can't always understand it very well but that is surely a minor point in comparison with the profound questions that have been solved lately.

Today I was running the kid through his flash cards when I happened upon an empty one.

"What's this?"

"Huh?"

"It's god."

"I see."

As it happened the next one was empty too.

"What's this?"

"God?"

"That is correct. There are many Gods."

That seemed to work pretty well so we moved on to the "Guitar God" video game he got for his birthday. If you can play a video game you can play a guitar it seems. Holy Moses that was fun.

Yesterday I was teaching a student that has recieved a scholarship to study the effect of drug abuse on the youth of Taiwan.

"The drug [ecstacy] is considered unusual for its tendency to produce feelings of euphoria, a sense of intimacy with others, and diminished feelings of fear and anxiety. MDMA has more consistent emotional effects than most psychedelics and has a euphoria that appears to be different from most stimulants. Before it was made a controlled substance, MDMA was used to aid psychotherapy, often couples therapy, although results of this therapy are poorly documented," she said.

"Is that right? Who taught you that?"

"You did."
